I just did this today with a Airaid Jr. kit and I'm floored as too how much response it's created. Definitely worth it...

I did this Saturday, really surprised how much different it sounds. I already had a hole under the air box, so I just cut the bottom out to fit. First I drilled holes, but then I went and got a saw blade and went at it. I'm happy with this very cheap mod

did it this weekend.

much better throttle responsive. engine doesnt seem to gasp for air when I juice it now.


excellent free mod

I had a few spare minutes this morning and so I cut out the bottom of the air box and also cut a hole in the bracket. It does change the way the engine runs, it no longer hesitates when the throttle is opened and responsiveness is much increased. Next will be the K&N filter and a new muffler. Thanks for the ideas guys. Mitch.

careful u guys are not cutting large enough holes that the intake will suck water when it rains..
