This is apparently a lot tougher than it sounds. Sumo couldn't get it done and sent me his switch. I put it in my LTZ and nothing worked except window up/down, no fold, no mirror adjust, no puddle light, not even my passenger door lock worked. Hell even my interior lights would no longer go off unless I pushed the dash switch. My dealer programmed (re-programmed?) his old switch and now my truck is fine. I sent my '09 LTZ switch back to him (Sumo, tracking says you'll get it Monday, Tuesday at the latest).

The issue is that if the truck didn't come with the option, it's not easy for them to "force" that programming in a truck with a VIN that says it shouldn't be there. Not impossible, but not as easy as it sounds from what I was told. Fortunately, I was able to help because my truck is still under bumper to bumper warranty.

Unless you've got a really savy dealer, I think your best bet is to find a wrecked truck that had this option and get the passenger window switch out of it.

Correct. New, they have no programming and will work like the switch I got from Sumo, which is to say, almost nothing works. Dealers seem to have trouble trying to get the switch programmed as if the truck came with the option. I'm guessing it's a VIN issue, so maybe if they had a VIN from truck that has it they could use that, I really don't know. That's why I suggested getting a switch from a wrecked LTZ/Denali/Escalade because it will already have been programmed the way you want.

Yea this simple Thing we need is Almost near impossible task for a dealer. The passenger sw has a memory module in it. The easiest way is to find another switch that came off a Dl3 optioned truck or find someone Like Brad did for me.
