You don't need a tech2. You'd use it a couple times and then get rid of it

alright so im now pissed lol
I thought Id have my switch come in tomorrow put my mirrors on and mosey on up to the dealership and be golden..... this is not the case?

So it sounds like my solution would be to put both of my switches driver and passenger into my moms escalade have them flashed and them swap them back to my car?
