If your in NJ I'm sure there is a shop in your area that will install pretty easy. Mine only cost 100 to have it installed.

If your in NJ I'm sure there is someone in your area that will do the install. Just look for a shop that regularly competes.

I looked at that kit, but didn't want to spend that kind of cash, so I cut up my dash and have yet to actually finish it (didn't have the funds then) and I wanted to keep my little cubby.

But those fancy kits sure do look good when they're done.

If you look to the sides of the radio it's still open to the interior of the dash.

Total cost of everything:
Pioneer DD headunit- $220 (last years closeout)
Junkyard dash: $20
Borrowed Dremel: free
Install kit from Wal-Mart: $13
Having a stereo shop do the wiring: $110

I have a thread on here somewhere... hold on a moment...

I don't trust myself to do radio installs. I did my own cab lights, the driving lights, and the backup lights with no problem, but me and stereos just don't do well. I don' know what it is either.
