Dual alternator bracket

I'm looking to find a dual alternator bracket for my 95 Tahoe, but I'm not looking to spend a ton of money, or find a higher amp alternator than the stock 105amp my Tahoe came with. Has anyone done this before and if so what was the best option/website? I have a sound system and a lot of after market lighting, since it's summer in Las Vegas I've been running the ac full blast but having cooling problems which is forcing me to look at getting an electric cooling fan and to get rid of my belt driven one, but with all my lighting and sound system plus the ac running full blast I'm burning through alternators left and right.

don't think anyone make a dual bracket for that year anymore. cant even get one for a 96 anymore. to busy doing much newer ones i think. powermaster does alts to 200+amps. other places can higher just cost more. the powermaster one in a non chromed or polished case will go about $300-400. it will probably give 115-140 amps at idle engine rpm. someone here will remember other makers as well.

I know a site that makes the brackets but they want an arm and leg for one. As for alternators the one I have is the stock 105amp but it's a duralast gold, I have a lifetime warranty on it and if I can get the bracket I'll get a second one so I never have to buy another alternator again. Otherwise they sell alternators too up to 375amps but they are asking for up to $600 for their alternators and they only have a 1 year warranty

Why don't you look into getting a second battery with an isolator. You can find a battery tray from a later year to go on the opposite side and relocate the charcoal canister, then you can hook it up in series giving you more amps or get a deep cycle battery and split them so the alternator can charge both but your auxiliaries can draw from the deep cycle and not draw from your main battery.

dual alternator brackets are expensive the cheapest ive found is like 299
the local car stereo chop close to me was going to make me one for like 200 bucks
i got a LActrical for my tahoe for 150 bucks 250 amp with a biggest overdrive pully available it runsaabout 90 to 100 amps at idle it puts out enough juice at cruizing speed to push my stereo wich is 2500 watts true RMS or 170 amps i havent had a chance to accurately test high current DC amp clamps are expensive

Family I run 2 optima batteries already with an isolator, ithe second battery is only powering my sound system so my main battery doesn't get affected by the large drain from that, but it's not helping with all the other large power draws coming from main vehicle operation like my ac running at full power and my lights when I'm driving at night with the ac running.

Yes tahoeking i had a bracket made for my 95 i bought a metal slab and did a template and
took it to a body shop and he cut it he did a fine job cutting the curves out. look in www.photobucket.com/qlcp . you can get the adr22r alt off a 07 tahoe i think it's 164 amps

i got the 135 amp adr alt it keeps up with my EFAN & ac fine and don't get a battery isolator get a PAC 200 seloniod if you want to add a battery but not with that 105 alt

Does the 07 alt fit the 95 bracket or do I have to modify it? And where do I find that alternator?
