You won't wnat to put a fuse battery to battery. It wont be isolated then. And if you wanted to bridge them for a power boost in engine starting, finding a fuse that can handle several hundred amp for starting an engine, is not practical and will likely be expensive.

I am thinking to go manual, marine manual switch! And find a place near the front bumper so I don't have to open the hood

just use the stinger 200 amp seloniod i've use these with no problems u can use the start only wire to trigger it.

You do loose more amps and volts going through that isolator in heat that why they have
Heat sinks on it the solenoid you want have that issue.
