Dual Projectors & SMD Halos (Concept still)

Anything new going on with this mod?!?!

Yeah, tired to put them in this past weekend, one of the projectors broke. The part where you put the locking nut on the back of the projector. So im dealing w/ that at the moment, but was a PITA, big time trying to take apart some other headlights i have that are the same thing as the black ones im going to use, except they are clear. Tore them up, lense cracked little spider marks.

Actually talking w/ someone right now that i may get to do it for me. Just dont have the time or the patience for this at the current time. And might be better off, b/c of the aiming and cutting due on the high beam side. But i might still try it, havent gave up. just time isnt on my side.

Aug 5th that's sooo long ago man.... Time to waken the beast as winter is coming and everyone stays inside some pics for motivation maybe?! Some I'm taking ideas from...

All look freaking great with the ccfls inside the shroud IMHO

You know i was about to update this pretty soon.

In short, my project is going to be done by someone, quad minis w/ halos. Which i had custom made and are going to be sweet looking to me. Two colors. Finally they got done, just waiting for them to get to me.

and i have all those pictures you posted too, lol. thinking alike on this i see. lol.

Well months and months ago you and I were big a halos and idk if they'll look Ricey on the outside but the inside of a shroud is prefect subtle but killer and so much less ricey sooo it's obvious

Those ones inside the shrouds look awesome. I like the one....uh...I guess if you count down from the top it'd be the third one...that looks sick.

I'll pm you pricing on stuff and who i used.

i tried to do it myself, the lows are fine, easy as ever, its the high beam side that i am leary about. B/c of the aiming and making it right and aimed correct, as to not blind me or others when driving. So i'll send it to someone that knows what they are doing. lol

For the halos, i like them, always have, and these im getting arent the cheap ebay one led ones. You will see them. ricey or not, my motto is. Its my truck, i do what i want disregarding what others think. Some may like it, some may not, all criticism is more knowledge, more info, everyone has a opinion, thats what makes this site great. lol.

yes, i love the ones inside the shroud, and thought about doing that, but then again if you get halos, all you see is a little light though, if im spending 20 bucks, id do it. But then i just couldnt find any of them inside that just wowed me, so im going w/ outside the mini. 4 of them buddy... lol.

oh yes, pics will follow, not going to be soon, waiting on halos first, then shipping out lights, etc. So now its just a waiting game. lol. But surely will do, especially w/ the quad minis. I cant wait to actually see the road w/ no problems. Only thing now, is unsure of what turn signals to get.

Way less than $900. Unless your including the whole project, parts, and halos.

I called alot of people and searched alot, not much on hidplanet, as you know, diff. bunch there. But all around and all i needed is someone to put the highs in the housing, so that is where the hard part is, so price goes up. But in the end, i dont mind, if i can see 100x better and looks very unique and dont see anyone else with it, well worth it then. thats what im about, uniqueness.


Will keep you guys updated. just been busy, and trying to find right people.
