Yes, a supercharger helps with altitude. We have quite a few customers who got them specifically for towing at altitude.

Sent from a jelly bean.

got my retune in the mail yesterday and got it hooked up today! man the tune really woke up my cam nicely...idles perfectly now..and at 30mph WOT this thing hauls ass in no time i can see that my 1-2 shifts takes longer once it passes 6k rpm probbly shifting at 6300 now but it feels awesome and once it shifts i feel as if it looses no power and just keeps going. i did not see what rpm it goes down to after it shifts but man do i love this cam now...cant imagine what a stall and some bigger injectors with a fuel pump will do...will have to go back to the dyno to see if any gains where made

Man you said track... I was thinking circuit.

Testing body roll and lateral traction in corners... To learn the limits of handling for emergency situations on a big SUV would be cool...

You just went to the drag strip... :D

OK then, running a larger cam without even a small stall will result in a pig off the line. That's why you're not moving very quick in the first 60'. Gears would really help too at this point.

Get the fuel issue sorted out, get the stall and you'll be back in business. Like mentioned before, for every tenth of a second you cut off your 60' time you can safely expect about 1.3 -1.8 times that off your ET for a street vehicle running 12-16 second ets.

Mike

got my retune done by justin and switched to my stock wheels...dropped .9 of a second on the 1/4 and gained a total of 12 hp to the wheels with just a retune...my FTI 3200 stall will arrive tomarrow..now lets see what times that will break...i did 17.1 here my last run..nbs RCSB 5.3 where running 17.7 so its safe to say that my tahoes gotten alot quicker and can now beat the silverados but now lets see what the stall does

17.8 at 82mph before 16.5 at 85mph current.

When I do gears it should drop about another second. If I don't have traction issues. I'm starting to have traction issues now that I took out my subwoofer box, weighed around 500lbs.
