thats a real nice gain there! heres a question..i know if you stall it from a dead stop it will go up to 3000 rpm...what about when you dont brake and just hit the accelerator WOT? will it climb straight to 3000 rmp as well? also from a roll did you also notice a huge difference? or is it mostly in a dead 0 launch?

When you "flat foot" it chevys actually go 200-300 rpm higher than what the stall is. Don't know why they do, but they do. I do a mix of foot braking and flat footing it. Not really much of a difference for me time wise. But I spin a bit more flat footing it.

The way stalls help you on the freeway really is when you shift the rpms don't drop as much in between shifts, so it keeps you in your powerband a lot more.

soo if you flat foot it yours actually jst climbs straight to 3400 rpm? if so thats awesome! one more question..sometimes ive raced by manually changing gears or by dropping to first gear in 30mph and taking off which has a quicker take off..will the stall help in that way if you manually shift gears? i would think it wouldnt and after a stall just better off to leave it in D right?

It doesn't really climb lol it just strait jumps to 3200 haha. When I drag race I shift it myself, I get a few more 100 rpms than if I were to leave it in D. Which equals out to about .1-.2 faster for me. I get about to 50mph in 1st, and I can go all the way up to 90 in 2nd, and around 130 is when I shift to 4th. only been about 130 because I ran out of road.

Before I leave I put it in 1st. then when my rpms get to about 5500 i put it in 2nd, then when I hit a little after the finish line I put it in 3rd and start braking.

aright i will have to try that then and see what works for me..my shiftpoints are set at 6100 i believe because the cam gave it the additional overrev..since it only goes to 6k on the dash it might be safer to let it manually shift

I need a gauge cluster that goes to 7K rpm and 140mph lol. I just have to guess anything after 6k rpm. And I have to have a friend with me to know how fast I'm going for anything over 100mph lol, it gets annoying haha
