E Fans better than stock clutch driven??

What fans are you using?
Sounds like its not a problem more annoying than anything.

Premature fan failure ...

If they are running on low when you are trying to do 75 down the highway I bet they are causing some resistance as well ...

I'm using stock fans from an 05 Yukon. We swapped the computer just in case it was the tune. I've even swapped the harness. It's more annoying than anything, but I would like to find the problem and fix it. Swapping the fans next option.
