So i was doing some work on my 95 tahoe lt this weekend, hooking up subs stereo and new door speakers, however i noticed when i finished the light in my engine bay is staying on 24/7 even when i close the hood? i assumed it was a switch that keeps the bulb on but i ended up unplugging it, ideas? anyone else have this problem? :hmmm2:

unknown at this time.
If you mean the one actually mounted on the hood then it is not really a switch one can turn on/off manually directly. Some have cleaned it out I think but I recommend replacing the entire unit. I don't even put a bulb in mine as I have one on the firewall.

There is a pressure switch on the driver side on the rad support it is easy to break, Mine did the same thing and was killing my battery and I didn't find it until I had followed the wiring from the light all they way looking for the issue, i just keep the connection unplugged at the light and If you need the light just plug it back in. I haven't fixed it yet because I cant find the part anywhere, if you have any luck finding it let me know.
