So it took about an hour and a half but got everything up and running and it looks amazing. I took pictures of most of the install but the wiring diagram was very straight forward and helpful. Thanks for everyone who helped me with this project i'm very appreciative! Tell me what you guys think
Nice! Yeah, I'd like to know how they blink with the brakes applied. To they hop to opposite blinking, or do they stay in sync when the brakes are applied?
Were the Escalade LED's expensive? Can you let me know where you got them? They look hot and want to do this mod as well. Also, do you have the items needed to make this mod work? Thanks
Thanks for all the love guys . It honestly wasn't too tough of a mod and blow the g3/g4 tails out of the water! I will try and write up a DIY tomorrow afternoon! As for the questions they work and function absolutely perfectly! Everything is in sync and going at normal speeds.I highly suggest these to anyone looking at tackling this project! Yes I did, I got these off a man who exports cars, the owner wanted the red ones gone for his clear ones and gave this to the man who had no idea how much they were so I snagged them as soon as I saw them( For almost 30-40$ off what the g3's were going on ebay). It was worth the 40 minute trip into deep LA and all the electrical prep to make it combatable. I took some night time pics and a video to show the blinkers/hazards all working, tell me what you guys all think
To be honest cutting that first harness up was like nothing i've ever felt before. It was pretty hard and was even harder cutting the esky harness! I felt like I was holding my breath for 45 minutes until it worked. And Ive been reading up on it but dont know where I would get all the parts.
