Excon -- Thanks for the video. The lights obviously are blinking the proper BPM (blinks per minute?), but they definitely don't alternate blinking with the turn signals when the brakes are applied?

I didn't know mine alternated until I backed up to the garage and checked the reflection while applying the brake and releasing the brakes.

I guess that if yours DON'T do the alternate-blinking thing, then it must be something within the Esky lights that allows them to work properly (and doesn't have to be traced back to something else in the vehicle).

Very nice work, I have been looking at the variety of tail lights offered on ebay but they all seem to lack in one area or another, but these for sure take the cake to bad the wiring is not easier for those of us who are impatient and mechanically challenged.

Thanks guys! It honestly wasn't too bad, I think i psyc'd myself big time before the install but once that first tail lights up it's a walk in the park :). And Kmeloney, from what i've told mine don't alternate but I will have my little brother step on the brake and signal at the same time tomorrow and grab another video of it.

Thanks! The way to check is to have the turn signal on already, and then just apply the brakes. (It works in park, by the way.) If the tails work perfectly, then there will be absolutely no change in the pattern of the blinking. If they work like most aftermarket LED tails, then the blinking pattern will be briefly interrupted by the pressing of the brake. The light will light if it was off before, or will go out if it was on before. The cadence will be the same, but it'll interrupt the cycle.

This is making me regret my Eagle Eye tails more and more, lmao.

Excon are you going to make a write up? That would be extremely helpful. Oh and I like your Tahoe. The grille and new lights are amazing on it!
