Hey everyone, I'm looking to upgrade my exhaust, just trying to get a feel for what everyone is doing out there... I'm looking into the Gibson dual cat-back, but I seem to see so many people talking about the SLP and resonator delete. Just putting some feelers... thanks much!

The most common is the SLP for looks and Magnaflow muffler for sound and a mild performance improvement. The rest is pretty good to go from the factory (unless you want to do headers)

I did a Magnaflow cat back. Fairly pleased with it, not too loud. Price was right. Ive used Gibson a lot in the past and like theirs as well.

Do believe a MF cat back does sound slightly different than a 12589 welded in

Looks like cat back has a resonated tip

Your pipes are already mandrel bent. aftermarket pipe is the same size as OEM.
do resonator delete and swap the muffler.

Why buy pipe you dont need.

Headers with the correct Y pipe (longtubes) will bolt or weld up to your OEM catback.

The big ticket around here lately is to use a 2010 or newer OEM muffler, no cats, pacesetter longtubes with their best Y pipe (they have 2) with 07 up pipes.
Has great sound, no drone, no rasp and can be obtained for penny's vs aftermarket catbacks.

Why 2010+?

They all look the same right?

What about emissions
