What can be done to enhance this engine? Bb tune is coming after my headers and exhaust get installed. Have a k&n cai on it, superchips tune( for now), Vette servo in the trans, but looking to increase over all performance as a daily driver. Cam? Heads? Thoughts?

N/A or F/I? either way the 4.8L heads ported and polished, Cam, Maybe a Blower, Trans wise shift kit upgraded turqe converter with a higher stall, upgraded sun shell, clutch packs, lower ratio gears in the rear-end as in 373's or 4.10's an LSD in there also

+1 on the Port and Polished 4.8L Heads, BB Tune and a Supercharger. Once you start playing with Cams in California good luck getting it to pass our super tight smog laws

I have a 97 Jetta with a 16V 2.0L bored 88mm over, port and polished 16V head, Flat Top Pistons, Stage III Cam, 30lbs injectors, Shaved Eurospeed Fly-wheel, T3 Turbo with a water injected intercooler, 4" Piping and it is now a 15K driveway decoration since it wont pass smog

Sad thing to remember is it's a heavy SUV that's not very aerodynamic so lots of potential from these motors is lost due to these factors
