Seriously. I turned 16 and I was stoked as hell when my parents got me a honda accord when I tuned 16. I beat the crap out of that car and I loved every min I had it. To be 16 and have a $40K+ first car. WOWMy thoughts exactly. My kids won't have anything of the sort unless they buy it themselves.
