Hi All,

I bought these grills almost a year and half ago and finally installed it. Took me awhile for the upper, but the lower was a pain.

Called Grillcraft and spoke to Jerry to get some help. Had to take off the bumper because I could't install it the way he was describing. Also, didn't fit flush. Called Jerry again and he said to bring it in for him to take a look at it.

Brought it in and AJ was super helpful. Figured out that the XL has an additional reinforcement behind the bumper, which make the install different that a regular Yukon. Also, it seems that the XL, or mine, is a little smaller, so it still didn't fit flush!

AJ took the time to take the bumper off, clean up my install, and even gave me a new lower grill. On top of that, he thought the black grill would look better and offered to change my out for the black ones, at no cost. True customer service and didn't charge anything for his time! Kept the stainless steel, but appreciated it.

Like the look!

Looks good, but never have I seen additional reinforcements added on a Suburban / Yukon XL. And the Covers are all the same. I highly doubt out of the millions GM makes via molds that it would be off that much from cover to cover. I'm willing to bet their lower grille was screwed up, not the cover.

Glad to hear they took care of you though.
