Evening all, new guy here. Recently purchased my first Yukon Denali. 2011 w 101xxx on the clock for 12500. Blk/blk w chrome. AZ truck, no rust, a little desert pinstripe and plenty of dust everywhere. Pics will follow but its stock w the exception of a flow master cat back. Runs flawless except for the GM clunk. Love it more each day. Never had an awd truck before but I dig it. Here looking to improve upon the vehicle as well as fix little things that need it without breaking the bank. I will thank u all in advance for your help but more importantly for your patience as I am totally new to anything GM. Nice to meet y'all. Currently call Huntington Beach CA home. Appreciate any advice from those in the know(which I am trying to become). thank you!

Welcome to the forum from Iowa.

Would love to see some pictures of your Denali.

What do you mean by the GM clunk?

Welcome to the forum from Oregon.

The only GM clunk I have heard about that to some people seems common, is the clunk noise when stopped and shifting from drive to reverse or reverse to drive. Sometimes it is too much gear lash at the rear diff or a u-joint problem or the driveline needing the splines cleaned and lubed. Is that the clunk you are talking about?
