Alright, I can squeeze as much of the projector lens as possible through the halo or take the halo out entirely and fill the gap around the projector with something else. My projector is just a touch too big to fit perfectly in the old projector's hole. I think I can pretty easily fab the projectors onto the brackets of the housing, but there's going to be a gap to fill in with something. Taking ideas. Don't really care if I take the halo's out...they're cheapos anyway and would probably die within a few months.
I was thinking some black CF. Buuuuttt...my retrofitting buddy is really good at making LED halos and strips look badass, so I might hit him up for a custom job. Dammit. Nothing is ever simple.....
One ring of "white" LED's for a typical halo, with a switchback-type effect for some unique turn signals??
Gaaahh. Too many ideas....make it stop....
