Where is the best place to mount a back-up camera? Best view, best angle

Mine is above the LP centered between the LP bulbs recessed under the bowtie. That's a pretty good spot because it's as hidden as it's likely to be. It seems to be a panoramic lens so the angle of the oem camera allows one to see rather well ... this feature has become a must need for me for city parking, especially because my backup sensors seem to have a capricious disposition and alert me at their leisure. :uhoh2:

ETA: There's also these kind of accessories, but I'm not sure how well they work.

I mounted mine in a blank on the hitch receiver. Great view/angle and easy to mount and dismount should I need to tow..

I got one of those license plate ones. Used the towing hitch and ball to aim it and now i know how close i can get. good for hooking up a trailer too. Also it has a fish eye lens so you can also see things that are up higher. Got it on amazon for like 25 bucks and hooked it up to my DD. Wife loves it, cus she can park the Yukon in reverse at the mall. Looks good at night too because it has night vision. When it warms up im gonna mount it on the bumper, between the bumper and hatch door. Theres enough room there. Gonna use some double stick tape. This is so it wont get stolen or kids mess it up.

I was also going to mount mine between the liftgate and bumper but, I would have to build a bracket for it. So I decided to center it in the licensplate. I did scratch up the plate a bit because I was using the wrong drill bit. I didn't care at the time because I knew I was up for plates soon. Color with night vision works great. new problem is I just recieved new plates and they are adding a 7th # . If I keep it there it will now be slightly off center.
