@Galante
This sunset is for you.
We hit the dock at 1700 after a couple hours in the pool.
We are grateful that our friends invited us to their place in Tavernier for a few nights. And that we are only 2 hours away.
The kids nailed the fish for about 30-45 minutes. My daughter hit 4 and my son was right behind her. I was the chief master baiter of course.
My wife was videoing the 3 year old reel his fish in while my son and daughter had fish on at the same time.
Then my wife’s rod got hit. Funny thing is she left the rod lying on the dock and the fish dragged it into the water.
Lots of pictures and more bait, a few broken lines and stolen hooks later, I “borrowed” a boat pole from the nearest boat and was able to retrieve her pole minus the fish. Very shallow on he bay side. Lol
It was a great lead up to a killer sunset. Not truck related but worthy of a post here. I know you guys will appreciate it.

Proud of my daughter. Using a shorty “Dock Demon” open bail reel for the first time and 2nd time fishing in the Keys and she outfished all the kids. Proud papa!!
