What do y'all recommend for a relatively inexpensive brake upgrade for the front on my Yukon? The brakes are currently doing their little squeaking death squeal and I budgeted about $4-500 for upgraded calipers and rotors. I'm looking to possibly get larger diameter rotors (need to fit inside a 17" wheel) that are slotted. I'm willing to put down more if I need to.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.:hands:

In the future I want to convert to hydroboost with rear discs on a 14bsf axle.

Oh and it needs to be ABS compatible.

Lately it seems the best route is slotted rotors and hawk super duty pads and then a hydroboost setup. Anything else seems to be not a good investment. You can get some severe duty shoes and drums. But I don't think you are going to get a lot out of a rear disc setup. At least with the amount of investment that would have to be made.:imo:
