Fuel Capacity?

once mine hits 1/4, i fill up. don't need my gas pump burning up or anything :-D usually it's about 16 gallons.
or whenever i hit 275 miles... whichever comes first.

Our fuel gauges are a "good guess" at best. Crazy things read all over, like it's a game show! For city driving, I know that at around 325 miles on the trip meter it means I'm going to surrender about $70.00 at the gas station.

shit now at 225 id better b close to a gas station since i have straight pipe and no cats

i have a 1996. i bought it new and the brochures and owners manual say thirty gallons, but they are not. exactly how much less wasn't revealed but there was a class action lawsuit against GM for lying about the size of the fuel tank. they lost. after the lawsuit the owners manuals say 'about' 30 gallons. i wouldn't be surprised if they were only 28 or 29 gallons.

i filled up yesterday at 290 miles, mixed driving half of that tank, took 17 gallons to fill it, $45.
and ya, these guages are like watching a game show, omg.
