So I'm going to replace my fuel pressure regulator, having a hard start and it dies once after I get it going. Runs fine after it is started.

Read these fuel pressure regulators are notorious for going out in the 95' tahoes.

Question is do you need a tool to compress that spring that is under the diaphragm? I guess te 96' and newer didn't have this little spring?

If you use a tool where can I find one?

Thanks for the help

No tool needed, not much pressure on it at all. Throw a gauge in while you are in there to check it next time.
