Mine are eagle eye, if yours are the same my suggestion would be to contact them and see if you can get the two resistors ... they come with a little harness that should plug right in.

Otherwise I have no idea what all the wires do.

But there are basically two wires on each side of the plug ...

From resistor to plug: 1 black, 1 green
From plug to main harness: 1 black, 1 green and yellow

Btw, if you get a metal resistor I wouldn't tape to the fixture like I did with the one that comes with it. It looks like the stock one is insulated, a metal one would melt your housings. Best place for it is on the metal frame right below where the tails go behind the bumper assy.

Thanks serge, I have some resistors coming in this week. Will post once I have it done. In the mean while I'll post a pic with them on. I also changed out the reverse bulbs with LEDs.

Not the best, also waiting on the third brake light spoiler to be painted as well as the rear pillars.

Serge,

Are the g5 just plug and play? and the resistor that came with it... where exactly did you place the resistor? In the metal frame or to the behind the light housing?

Thanks

The G3/G4/G5s are all plug and play.

It's actually easier to just glue the resistor to the back of the housing that way it comes out with the tails if/when you want or need to take them off. You get better heat dispersion if you glue them to the metal behind the bumper but it becomes a pita to take them off. So unless you drive countless hours with your hazards on, the back of the tails is just fine.

That box it NOT a resistor, it's a flasher. Others with G5's can confirm this. I'm not sure what electronics are inside the box, but you can hear and feel it cycling when the turn signals/flashers are on. It's so loud it's a little annoying actually. You may want to contact Eagle Eye's to try to get the correct plug in replacement.
