G5 Tails on

Got my G5 tails in the mail today decided to put them on right away took about 10 minutes. Very easy procedure. Third brake light and esky appliqués will be on soon. Will keep you guys posted

Hey where are you getting your 3rd brake light and appliqués from? I am planning on getting this soon but haven't found a place online yet?

You can usually get a better deal on the third/spoiler assembly.

Yeah, that's the guy many of us buy these from, I just couldn't find the listing earlier.

He usually has a couple of colors available ... but it's not that expensive to have it painted to color match your truck if he doesn't have one your color.

So it already comes ready to just plug in? Also how hard it to get the little rubber thing out so i can unplug the current one to this one? or can i just unplug it from the current light instead of taking it out from the little rubber thing as mention before one of the other threads?

Soulsea to remove the rubber grommet... how would i do it? with a flat head screwdriver and just pull? and it comes out easily?

I'm trying to remember if you even need to remove it.

It's been a little while since I swapped mine but my recollection is that once you have removed all the screws and lifted the regular spoiler, you just unplug the existing harness from the back of the old lamp and plug it in to the esky lamp.

So no need to even mess with the rubber cover.
