G5 Tails on

There's no aesthetic difference, the esky tails and G5s look identical ... however:

- Oem Esky tails are higher quality
- Oem Esky tails are not plug and play, the harness has to be modified to plug into non escalades..
- Revotec is just an ebay vendor, and he's very good. The brand of G5s he sells is Eagle Eyes, and as per my own recent experience, it's a roll of the dice if your set works properly. http://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=39934

I bought a set of G5s from Revotec and they worked perfectly, my issue has been with the G4s also made by Eagle Eyes, so I went with another brand of G4s (Anzo).

Thanks for the info. I was curious. Do you still have to get esky appliqués if you put on the G5's or do you just need the appliques if you go with the esky oem lights?

Have to? No. But to make it look right, yes, you need them.

Depends how OCD you are ...

me + esky/G5 tails without esky apps = shoot myself in the nuts

Or you ca get the G4s and not apps needed. (like in my sig pic)

How would you compare the quality of the ANZOs with OEM and Eagle Eyes?

Well my Anzo ones work ... so that's good, after 2 sets of Eagle Eyes G4s that didn't.

Are they worth twice the price of the Eagle Eyes, not really.
And if one gets lucky they might get a set of EE G4s and they work right and don't flood.
But one might also keep having to exchange them till they get a properly working set.

What I'd do is order the Eagle Eyes ones and hope it's a good set.
If it's not send them back and buy the Anzo.

I'm going to order the EE G4s and silicon the seems as some have suggested and then cross my fingers! The Ebay seller is 100mi away so shipping should be quick if I need to return them.

I got mine from the same guy and had no problems shipping was also very quick.
