It is legal. Just have to keep it at or above the legal limits.

Mine is below the legal limit but the bulk of vehicles in South Florida are below the legal limit..I only know of one person that got stopped for dark tint down here but his was 3% or less all around.

Yes. Mine is too. And my windshield is as well. But, it’s still illegal. So if I get stopped, I have to deal with it.

it's a $140 dollar ticket in florida, usually if they're looking for a reason to pull you over they'll cite thats why justo bust balls. you can scrape it and have an officer initial the ticket before you bring to clerk* and it's like $18 or some stupid amount but hardly worth scraping it for $140 though
front windows are all that they can ticket for

er palm beach county i should say, dont know about rest of florida

Never had issues with under legal all around and the windshields now have not presented any issues. Now a convenience ticket for a tail light out might get you the additional ticket. My address is near the ocean BTW.

Not anymore.
$115 for tint. Per window.
$95 for tint if you get it signed off.

They stopped that $10-20 fee of getting signed off because too many people were abusing it.

(Broward). But I am fairly confident it’s statewide now. I’d have to double check with FHP.
