Those are just suggestions; no need for a fuel pump now unless it's diagnosed. The second line item that he posted is the VENT valve, and you're already working on that.

Noted… just blowing out and cleaning what I am capable of taking apart right now

Push a little air through the vent valve and make sure the air can get out through the filter media at the end of the hose. If that's clear, then once the vent valve is put back in place it should be able to suck in air when the engine is running and it's commanded open.

You may want to apply 12v to the vent valve to make sure it's closed when voltage is applied. If it stays open with 12v applied it's defective.

Worked! I was able to pump a full $10 without it clicking in who know how long.

Though I will say, putting my mouth on the vent valve and just blowing was a lot more effective than an air compressor
