If I fill up the tanks on both my vehicles I can run the Bronco tank to almost empty in about 400 miles, this is a 16 gal. tank and my daily driver. The Yukon has the standard tank and it will last for a couple of weeks depending how much I drive it, as the weather improves I drive it more often. I don't miss having to fill the tank on my '19 Yukon because it had a 26 gal tank.

Gas prices here are falling, but not so much for premium and diesel. $4.09 for 87, $4.90 for 93, and $5.19 for diesel.

I took a 150 mile trip yesterday, mostly highway, and I averaged 14 mpg, at an average speed of 80+. No cruise control, just my normal aggressive driving. Even got challenged by a Hemi RAM pickup (he lost).

The amount of fun driving this rig still outweighs the cost of 93.

new truck (ram 3500) has a 50 gal tank…had a little over a quarter of a tank the other day and put $170 in it…at the end of the day it’s all the same money, just feels a little different when I can fill up the accord for $40

Was just thinking...can't wait for boating season when I have to pull up to the pump and throw 40 gal in the boat and 28 in the truck!

Hum: 68 * $4.29 = $300 for a fun day at the lake....:wtf2:

Any 6.2 mpg experience here lately?
I’m at 2700 miles now, trip 2 I reset at 500 and haven’t reset again, I’m about 66% highway and 33% city. Average on Trip 2 shows 16.8 right now. 250 mile trip recently w/ cruise at 76MPH netted 16.8. 400 Mike trip on lower speed roads (65 MPH) yielded 18.9. City seems to be about 15. All this in an XL Denali 6.2, mostly running Octane from Costco, a couple tanks of 93 from BP.

Don't worry everyone, our fearless leader has just announced 49 MPG average required by car manufacturers by 2026.

RIP large suv...
