With weather starting to warm up it's almost time to fire up the '68 fury that makes the '21 yukon look like a fuel mileage champion. Fully built 360 with a super aggressive cam and a Holley 750 double pumper. No emissions bs, no high tech electronics, just loud in your face classic american goodness. I'll be out cruisin, gas prices be damned

A friend of mine once had a Sport Fury convertible, don't remember what year though. He also had a '70 Road Runner with a air grabber hood, those were the good ole days.

My Mom had a '69 Chrysler 300 with the 440 magnum in it, when I first got my license. If the speedometer and back seat could only talk.....

After 2 wrecks with that beast in the first 6 months of having my license, I was forbidden to use ever after. But, it was a heck of a lot of fun for that 6 months.

Old Mopar is pretty cool and the fury is one of them that is still affordable to the common man. They made a lot of styling changes on them during the 60's and they got pretty funky looking in the 70's but I think the '68 I have is one of the better looking years. Takes up about the same square footage as the XL does in the garage...

Who has more cargo space, the XL or the fury's trunk. My buddies was a burgundy color with white vinyl interior.

Premium ranges from $4.39-4.59

You mentioned you're in the NY tri-state area? Upstate, we're still living with regular at over $4/gallon.

The price of gas at the Shell station close to my house has not changed in about 2 weeks. The price on the sign has been at $4.75 for regular and $5.35 for diesel. I don't normally buy fuel there so not sure about mid grade or premium. I haven't bought gas in about a month but have noticed prices coming down a bit at other places

In our area, it's a bit murky. The state may have suspended the gas sales tax but I'm not sure if the suspension expired. I think it amounted to about 35 cents a gallon.
