Alright, so my Tahoe had the CEL light on for a year, and I finally checked into it and got everything fixed. I had P0449, EVAP Vent Purge something or other, and a bad 02 sensor (forget the code). I got everything replaced with new GM parts, and I just went to the gas station. When I got there, I started getting gas, and I heard it build up pressure & the next thing I knew, gas was running all down the side of my truck... After I calmed down from my stroke, I began filling it again, and finally got to $10.00 after 2 minutes of trying to not let it build up pressure... My tank has always had issues with filling up, it always shuts off WAYYYY before the tank is even almost full... The pump kicks off at least 6-10 times during any fill-up... Although I've always had issues, it's never overflowed, which has me worried. I'm just wondering what's wrong now & how it can be fixed. Please help....

Sounds like you got a vent tube pinched on the fuel filler neck or something.

R_Sharpe,

Do you always use the same station? There is currently an industry wide issue with variation in OPW 11B fuel nozzles throughout the fuel station industry.
