Gears?

I am looking to get some rear end gears for my tahoe before I do the cam that I want. Where are you guys ordering your gears? Im torn between 3:73 and 3:90. I plan to run about 3000-3200 eventually.

I have a 2006 Tahoe LT and the guy at Summit Racing is telling me that with my rear ABS, the gears they sell wont work?? Where can I order the gears and installation kit?

3000 to 3200 RPM's is on the high side for a DD and the MPG will suffer a lot.

This won't be a DD when I actually do the gears. Right now I'll just buy them and sit on them until I get my cam Installed and tuned.

If you are not going to be dd'ing it then go with at least some 4.10s

I plan on doing a decent aggressive cam, 3000-3200 stall. Obviously 4:10s would be nasty but what would the interstate RPMs be? I dont plan on driving it daily but I'm sure there will be a few times I'll want to take it to work.

Also, I would have a 8.6" correct? 2006 Tahoe? All I am seeing are 8.5/8.6 are interchangeable.

Do you have the 6 speed or 4 speed? Also what gears do you have in it now?

You said rear gears. If you have a 4x4 then you gotta do front gears too. Randy's Ring & Pinion.

This will give you an idea what rpm you`ll be turning on the highway at 65 mph.
