Got a Sanden compressor today and the motor mount adapter. Also decided to use a different LQ9 motor then the one I was planning on. This one has 70,000 miles on it rather then 87,000 and it wasn't supercharged and doesn't have a cam, its just stock which is what I want. Also decided on doing e-fans out of a silverado instead of using the stock fan. Tahoe motor is out, LQ9 motor is out on a stand, cleaning the hoe's engine bay / underbody. The transfer case, driveshaft, and tranny is out of the SS silverado.

Excited to see what tomorrow and the weekend brings. Sunday or Monday I'm swapping the dash, and probably doing a new steering box. Wish I had pictures but I'm not doing a majority of the work this time around and whenever I go to check it out or help I don't feel like it.

Here she is, 6.0L LQ9 and the 4L65e in the 2 door. Still need to do wiring and button it up, and obviously some other vital things need to go on still. Swapping transfer case, driveshaft, axles, lift kit right now.

:mexsmoke: getting fricken' pumped for the final product. Hoping the LQ9 will have enough power to satisfy me. What do yall think? Will the change from the 5.7L vortec to a 6.0L LQ9 be a big change?

vuryyy nice!! i think youll appreciate the upgrade. You didnt have many boltons to the 5.7, so the upgrade i think should really kick some ass. If you had a pretty stout 5.7 then the difference might not be soo radical.

Thinking on buying the 57-3050 K&N 57 series FIPK and the Corsa #14220 exhaust. Only thing about the exhaust is it'll all be wrong... To bad I really LOVE the sound of the #14220 6.0L ** exhaust for the escalades. Looks like I'll need to run the battery on the driver side if I want to run any aftermarket intakes, good thing I have both sides with battery trays. Unless I do one of those ram jet air looking air intakes.
