Well tryed again to get it out of 4lo no luck... BUT, went out and got a new 3 ton floor jack today. Haven't had one in awhile. Put my 265/75/16's on the truck so I could turn the truck. Washed the truck real good, think I'm gonna take out the front driveshaft for now. Gonna do the dash tuesday/wednesday?!

Don't get me wrong, I'm glad your getting back into the Tahoe, but your truck looks awesome. I really like what you did with the truck, and if that's any indication, I can't wait to see what you have planned for your Tahoe.

Norcal, appreciate it dude! Yeah man no loss here only gains! Motor swap should start in two weeks and if all goes well next week tahoe should be getting lift/tires/axles/bumpers/mirrors. And this week I should have the new dash in, it'll be a OBS dash though I scratched the idea of the 01+ dash when I realized how much more complicated it is to do that instead of just using the obs gauge cluster when doing the LS swap.

I think my guy won the bid for the totaled SS silverado with the 6.0 LQ9 / 4L65e 80,000 original miles The truck was in a rear end collision things like spotless I hope he won the bid.

Price of the whole truck was 5,000. 80,000 miles on truck one owner 2006 SS Silverado AWD 6.0L LQ9. Truck was in a rear end colission. Should go great, just waiting on my guy to help me with the lift without him this whole things on hold I wanted to get the lift/axles on so I know where everything will sit before I do the motor/tranny/transfer case.

Got to finally see the truck in person today, its mine and its at the shop. Its a 2006 SS Silverado Intimidator the LQ9 has a procharger on it thats mint unfortunatly the guy wants the charger =/. But I'm gonna take a gander and say it definetly has atleast a cam and other work done to it. This truck was niceeee. The intimidator is a 2wd so I'm gonna use a transfer case / tranny out of another SS Silverado. Excited to say the least. Gonna have the tahoe in the shop Sunday then the fun begins. Should have the the whole truck including axles/lift/tires/bumpers/dash/motor/tranny/transfer case all of it done in about 2 weeks =D.

Wonder what LT headers / CAI I should go with, I didn't look and see if it already had longtubes on it probably does, if it does I'm in luck! The motor was soooo clean looking the truck was super clean minus being in a collision.
