That was about to be my exact comment. The RR and the Esky / Tahoe are two completely different sized SUVs and the comparison you make is definitelly on point. Just compare the picture of that RR to my Esky on 26s and the RR clearly looks more like that wagon wheels than mine, no question.
:Handshake:
The NBS models were a different story because the wheel well was smaller. I have a 3/5 drop and 26s on my NNBS and people still ask if they are 24s sometimes. The NBS models, with the same drop and rim size, would look like 28s when compared to my or your setup.

I'm not hating but something is extremely awkward about the tech in the first video being smaller than the wheels on that rediculous Esky...

Damne and the second one looks alot like my Esky :)

Wow I did not even notice him. It would suck if he had to mount those wheels.
The second one sure does look like yours.:licklips:

I like his color matched running boards but don't like how he keeps them down at all times...and I'd much rather have my Platinum front end than that Strut grill but that's just me....might also have to look into doing my headlights white out like that. I hate taking lights apart but my lenses need a serious makeover from sun damage / extended wetsand repair attempts...hmmm

Not trying to thread *****, but I can't call the Rovers the worst engineered. Faulty, they are. But not horribly bad. They have a lot more systems than even the Escalade has, so it is more likely to mess up. I also do agree that the 2013 Range Rover is badass.
GM better make these 2014 on par with such luxury offered by both American and Foreign brands. It is funny because when the NNBS models came out, I thought (and still do think) they were leaps and bounds better than the NBS in the beauty department, inside and out. The main reason I thought that is because GM styling is historically pretty dated. I know the performance and exterior of the 2014 models will not be too much different than the current, but the interior better be nice or I am not going to get it this time around. After dropping at least $45k on a SUV, GM needs to realize we don't want mediocre styling.

Nice Range!
The only reason why big wheels are needed on these cars is because 22s are just too small. 22s on a Range Rover Sport is like 26s on an NNBS Tahoe or Yukon when it comes to the rim to fender well space comparison.

truly beauty is in the eyes of the beholder because u guys already know how i honestly feel about 26s on anything. i think 24s WITH dish are aesthetic perfection on the GM fulls.

if you guys can swing it, i highly recommend owning a new range rover. typical internet posturing, but the 2010+ supercharged models are very nice as well. the 2013s are yet in another price bracket just like porsche 911s as they went upmarket. the 510hp supercharged engine makes the already rough 6.2 feel rougher. it's a completely diff experience and something that no american truck can touch. period. but at $80K+, with the autobiography units pushing 120, they do need to justify the additional uptake.

i have my tahoe as my beater. i like its simplicity and don't feel guilty driving it everywhere. the rover is overly complex imo. hardly anyone uses its myriad offroad functions including yours truly. GM= cheaper parts. cheaper service. big american comfort. there's a role for everyone.

p.s. modded - your black 26s look pretty good for such a big wheel as they're classic spokes and it blends in with the all black body - would def get my attn even in my snobby arse Range :D

Funny you mention it, I actually thought about the 2013 Rover Sport. The only reason why I decided against it is purely price. The price is high, but the quality matches. I decided I want a Denali as the front end looks like it will look good again. I also hope it will be a "staircase" up from my current model.
GM cars are just to costly for the features they pack. I don't understand why either because Toyotas are also built here.

I have to throw in my two cents now.
*If I could do it over I would get a Esky ESV just cause I like big vehicles.
One of my favs.

WARNING: turn down speakers due to random shout outs in the video.

If I had a second car and my Tahoe was a weekend vehicle I would love to put 30's on it.

I have never liked the Rover's ever since I sat in one back in 08 I thought it felt small and overpriced. Also I didn't like that the sub was built into the back hatch, and that it would rattle when we turned it up. I have heard nothing but good about them though and may have to give them another chance. My mom loves those things and that probably will be her retirement present. Lol

I don't care that we got off topic I already found the wheels. Just waiting for Chase so I can order.

My favorite Forgiato wheels are the Concavo and Otto. If I could scoop them for a decent price, I will run them on my next setup. 28s would also be in the plans, but I know that the 295/25/28 tire is too low profile for a daily driver. I saw one in person once and it looked like if it was installed and loaded down, it would look like the rims were riding directly on the road.
The SUVs in those links look like the front of the rear tires will tear the rear door off if it went in a dip.
