24s max. in my eyes, 26s look and drive like this:

all for vanity with none of its positive feel good results. my $.50.
Bet you have never had neither 24s, or 26s. Probably just doing guessing!:waytogo:

not sure a comparison to the worst engineered vehicles on the planet (range rover) for any size wheel should be considered in this debate

not sure GM has the best rep either but we know better. not the value leader in the market but the rover's an awesome drive for me with 510hp on tap. i would only own one under factory warranty.

yeah, all just a friendly debate. I was in love with Range Rovers for a long time until I went to buy one and read all the horror stories and year after year of poor ratings and some years being the #1 unreliable vehicle on the road...hints the Escalade in my driveway now

you gotta get the 2010+ models. refreshed inside and out that makes any GM look typical rental car plastic even the platinum slade. new engines. upgraded everything. diff class size wise, brand prestige wise and price range.

Yea the new body is siq. The best part is what you don't see. It is significantly lighter which leads to all sorts of goodness.

The aftermarket options for the range rovers is where it kills GM. So many awesome Europe based vendors to choose from! Just bring stacks of cash. I went with Brabus. Friends don't let friends stay stock body. i need to save up again!

sorry to sideline

Not trying to thread *****, but I can't call the Rovers the worst engineered. Faulty, they are. But not horribly bad. They have a lot more systems than even the Escalade has, so it is more likely to mess up. I also do agree that the 2013 Range Rover is badass.
GM better make these 2014 on par with such luxury offered by both American and Foreign brands. It is funny because when the NNBS models came out, I thought (and still do think) they were leaps and bounds better than the NBS in the beauty department, inside and out. The main reason I thought that is because GM styling is historically pretty dated. I know the performance and exterior of the 2014 models will not be too much different than the current, but the interior better be nice or I am not going to get it this time around. After dropping at least $45k on a SUV, GM needs to realize we don't want mediocre styling.

Nice Range!
The only reason why big wheels are needed on these cars is because 22s are just too small. 22s on a Range Rover Sport is like 26s on an NNBS Tahoe or Yukon when it comes to the rim to fender well space comparison.

That was about to be my exact comment. The RR and the Esky / Tahoe are two completely different sized SUVs and the comparison you make is definitelly on point. Just compare the picture of that RR to my Esky on 26s and the RR clearly looks more like that wagon wheels than mine, no question.
