I recently purchased a 2015 Denali. The seats, mirrors and pedals revert to some obligatory position whenever I exit the vehicle. Every time I get in the Denali, I have to press and hold down the "1" to get it back to my preferences. (I have both the "1" and "exit" buttons programmed to my preferences) It's a small inconvenience having to push it every time I get in, no big deal. My main concern is wear and tear on the motors and more importantly, the mirrors moving in freezing temps when there may be ice on/around them is never a good idea.

This is the only vehicle out of the three that I own(ed) with presets that you have to do this with and I'm wondering if it is just the way these Yukons are and everyone has to do it and learn to live with it, or do I have a unique situation that I need to look into?

This is the third time I've posted regarding this and have gotten no responses. I'm just looking for a quick "Yes I have to do this too." or "Nope...this doesn't happen to me." Any input will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

UPDATE:

I turned off the easy exit option in the DIC yesterday and everything still moved upon exiting the vehicle. Last night, I programmed all three buttons, numbers 1 & 2, and the easy exit button (previously only 1 & easy exit were programmed) all to the same settings. The seats/mirrors/pedals haven't moved since. So, the only thing different was the no.2 wasn't set. Makes me wonder if everything was reverting back to the no.2's settings when I exited. All is good now...thanks everyone for the input!

Nope. I turned off the easy exit option in the DIC and programmed all three buttons on the door to the same positional settings. I'm the only one who drives the vehicle, so while I never truly figured out what it is, at least it works.

Congrats! Sorry nobody responded earlier, but my '08 Denali had the same thing going on when I bought it. I hated the seat always doing its easy exit and thought the same about the motors... couldn't wait to reprogram it. The park assist mirror setting was also programmed on mine and the side mirrors would always tilt down to show curb level. I spent time going through the DIC and shutting off several features.

I went through all the same antics when I purchased my Z71,... cant believe the PO put up with this,.. Whenever I turned the ignition off the seat would contort into some crazy ass position, I felt retarded,.. and every time I put it into reverse the mirrors would angle to the ground becoming completely useless for backing.
