We drove last night and the buffering was almost gone, the wife who said she would never ride in the truck again, said it was tolerable now and she barely felt it now. But did complain when driving in V4 mode. I’m unable to tell because my ears are so messed up from the last 20 of driving in the “torture chamber” everything hurts my ears and Equilibrium. The true test will be my 40 min commute tomorrow to work.
The Borla system does not have the valves to compensate for V4 mode and was a major contributor to the buffeting drone. I don’t recommend this system to anyone. Although it did sound awesome at WOT. !!
I believe the truck is still going to need another fix to resolve the issue. IMO the roof is the next fix as stated before in earlier post. My roof has too much flex in the area between the first roof bow and windshield. I’m going to stop at the dealer today while they are closed to check other Tahoe’s for the same flex. If not then that’s the next step.
