Hate to post another WTB because I'm sick of the scammers so if you're a scammer eff off!

Anyway, I'm looking for a factory NBS GMT800 Y pipe with or without cats IDC. Trying to get a budget beater for a buddy up to daily driver duty and the PO cut the exhaust completely off just past the manifolds:banghead:. I found a catback for $200 but if someone has their OEM unit available I'd be all about that too.

Need to be in Florida or able to meet me here I don't want to drive more than 2-3hours from Orlando if possible. Also if someone knows a hookup on cheap reman pipes I'd look into that too.

I saw that and it looks really nice, just way over budget for this particular POS. Not my money to spend unfortunently.

The man/woman with the money needs to pony up then. The previous owner cut the exhaust before your buddy bought the rig. Unless of course you feel like working miracles!

cheapest crap shoot i can find that claims it fits 00-06 tahoes and yukons. honestly your cheapest option is to tow it to an exhaust shop. tell them its an off road project and you just want the cheapest crap they can do to reconnect it to the rest of the exhaust. or find a redneck with a welder. go buy some straight pieces 2 90s and 2 45s and one way or another it will go to the rest of the exhaust.

That's a good option and likely going to be what we go with, I have some local leads but nothings panned out yet. Plus if possible I like to buy off the forum to support members. I have 2 months or so before the owner is back from Guantanamo Bay (no not a terrorist) lol.

Could go to an exhaust shop but like I said cheap as possible is the plan. Might check a local LKQ but I have a feeling they cut the cats right off. Which still might be an ok option.

Its cut so short I don't think I could even get my welder up there lol. He is ponying up money else where on the project mostly the trans which is getting a filter, gaskets, and vette servo. Then needs so cosmetic help luckily I have a set of door handles someone hulked 3 of them to pieces lol. It's a POS but with under 2k total in it should be reliable enough to sell for 3 or 4 after he drives it for awhile.

haven't tried to take the remaining pipe off the exhaust manifold? also you would be surprised what a custom exhaust shop would charge. have to find a custom shop tho. ive gotten some pretty surprisingly cheap quotes for whole custom exhaust systems.

No I haven't even had it in the shop yet just peaked under to see what all it was missing. I'm confident I can get the pipe off tho, it's a florida truck and has no rust.

I think I found a full OEM y pipe off a wrecked truck with 83k, comes with all 4 O2 sensors as well which are missing. $75 which is a good dealIMO
