Headers From A 6.2L Fit 5.3L?

Hey guys, I've been browsing on the internet for days researching this, and can find no solution.

I have the chance to pick up a complete exhaust system; Kooks longtube headers, and basically everything back from that. Collector, high flow cats, and full exhaust.

My question is this: Will these parts coming of a 6.2L Sierra Denali fit on a 5.3L Tahoe?

His Sierra is a 2009 or newer, crew cab short bed. My Tahoe is a 2007. Neither have autoride or anything of that nature.

And more specifically, if the exhaust doesn't fit but the headers would, let me know! I'd like the whole setup but if I can only get a few pieces from it and build the rest, that's fine by me.

I think it's far fetched, but figured I'd ask you guys before assuming they won't. From what I can think of, the pickups are on the long-wheelbase chassis, i.e. Suburban, so the exhaust would be too long even if they utilized the same mount and hanger points.

The headers will mount to the engine, but I think you will have some issues with the rest of the system.

bump, new question; will headers from a 6.2 sierra denali (same as OP), fit on a 6.2 escalade? i know they'll bolt, but will they clear other components since it's a slightly different set up. ive since bought a 07 escalade

According to Summitt Racing the answer is no. Atleast that is what their search feature said. You could call them direct and ask. 800-230-3030

Yeah kooks website is not very helpful, it only has one part number listed for the 1500 pickups without specifying motors; so i can only assume its for the 5.3 setup. ill call when i can, just hard to get time at work to be on the phone
