Is there any drone with headers and Y pipe if I leave the rest of the exhaust stock?

Yes, drone is not all related to what kind of muffler and resonator you have. Believe it or not manifold/header style and cats can effect how those low frequency sound waves, otherwise known as drone, can resonate.

True that...seems that all my noise is coming from under my feet

Anyone have enough experience with quite a few LT headers to be able to rank them for amount of drone?

Dude, just get a set of stainless headers and wrap them and the Y pipe as far back as you can afford. Grab a couple cans of DEI ultra high temp header paint and coat the shiet out of them as well.
You wont have any noises you wont like. Even with stock system.

As a matter of fact. The hot ticket around here is that exact setup.
Your OEM muffler with LT's, no cats and no resonator. Sounds Awesome!
Just be sure to have the pipe exit from under the vehicle. even if it just peeks out abit.
Dumping exhaust under a vehicle is the Primary source of drone and disappointment ppl have after modifying their exhaust.

ha roger that, I plan on ceramic coating the headers but not the y-pipe and would go no cats. Resonator is already deleted and exits out the side of the vehicle behind the passenger rear wheel.

Yess, it dampens the vibrations in the thin wall stainless every header company uses by a huge margin.
Ceramic coating helps a lot as well.
If you knock on the headers and Y pipe before coating or wraping, they will ping.
Coat and wrap, then knock on them its a solid Thud.

Just have a helper. you will need it.
Try and get a good heat gun. heat the headers and Y pipe up as much as you can, it really speeds up the process, when ceramic coating them.
