Awesome job....love DIY too but I let a pro do mine. I figure pay somebody who does it for a living and get a great product in return. My HID retro is my favorite mod by far....

Nice write-up w pics too :Handshake:

Great job, I couldn't even try that! beyond my mod difficulty to patience ratio. I'd cut corner and fudge the job. Looks great!

Awesome job! By any chance, did you take a picture of what you had to cut on the frame to get the headlights to fit back on with the projectors? I'm attempting a retro with much larger TL projectors and was curious how much you had to cut.

So I have most everything I need to get this started but am still a little overwhelmed. My next step is to order the aftermarket light housing. I've have researched for several hours and this is the FIRST thread I can find on 07-13 Tahoe retrofit. I can't believe that there aren't more out there? So am I better off going with the housing the OP used or the Spyder here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Black-Euro-Headlights-by-Spyder-/301954944891?fits=Year:2013|Model:Tahoe&hash=item464deacf7b:g:DsQAAOSwfZhXNIkY&vxp=mtr?

Here is what I have so far. Am I missing anything? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Sorry i did not see this earlier. Not that many threads about this as its not a easy project. I went with TYC headlights http://www.ebay.com/itm/2007-2014-C...ash=item2ca317cca2:g:v6EAAOSwl9BWHFcj&vxp=mtr
looks like you have everything part wise, are you getting everything from the retrofit source? they send everything you need as a package, also you can give them a call and they will tell you if you are getting the latest and greatest.

dont forget the heat gun, clamps and all that fun stuff to put them back together.

have fun
