Just bought my '07 Tahoe a few weeks ago and I've noticed this feeling when I accelerate sometimes. Almost like when I hit the gas something in the drivetrain is moving/shifting. It's seldom when it's just me but over the weekend I was loaded with 7 people and it was almost everytome I hit the gas from a dead stop

Been busy with the new job so haven't had much time to look in to it myself

Sounds like the Slip Yoke issue that several people on here have talked about.

Do a search on the forum for "Slip Yoke" ,and see if those threads lead you in the right direction.

Yes check that first... that was my problem with my 07. Try going over a speed bump and it should sound like a "clunk" from the drive shaft

I've got the same problem. Haven't had time to get undet the truck yet, but from all my research, I'm fairly certain the slip yoke issue is what I'm experiencing. My truck is also an '07.

Hmm ok thanks guys I'll have to read more in to it. I can't really hear anything but I can definitely feel when it's happening

Check motor mounts as well!!

Pop hood, start motor, KEEP foot on brake, take out of park, tap the gas while watching the motor.
If the motor jumps up 3-4" you have a bad motor mount. If it only moves maybe an 1" then you should be good.

Is there a good to thread ? If not can u post pics and steps u did and A ny special tools

I have yet to find one. I'll do my best to keep track of everything. I'll snap some pics and also take a pic of all the tools necessary. I don't think you will need any special tools, all basic hand tools plus my electric impact is all I'll be using.

When do you feel it? Is it at a specific speed?

This could also be the problem.

Since Friday I've had it in 2wd mode and haven't felt it once. It was on the auto mode when I was feeling it. Does this offer any more insight to being the yolk?

The only speed I feel it at is when being at a complete stop and hitting the gas. It is not everytime but it's sporadic
