Generally speaking...

1.) Car Wash product - NOT dish soap or laundry detergent.
2.) A sponge or washmitt to apply the soap.
3.) Work from the top down so that the mitt or sponge hits the dirtiest part of the vehicle last.
4.) Wash out of direct sunlight.
5.) Hose thoroughly.
6.) Use a different sponge or mitt for the wheels
7.) Dry with a chamois.
8.) Microfiber towels for glass and interior trim.

It can't be bad... I dry my rides with paper towels or rags I made from towels or bed sheets. Works just fine and paint doesn't look bad. Have y'all even tried it before?

Any professional detailer will tell you all you need is:

1) Dish soap
2) Paper towels
3) Water (clean is optional)

Use paper towels to spread dish soap around the car, rinse car, finish by patting dry with paper towels.

I think you forgot about using a wirebrush too that seems like it would be good to do after the paper towel part :party36:
