How do I identify what alternator I have in a '04 Yukon Denali

Where do you see the RPO code I've been trying to see it the whole time it's good that you identified it for me and confirmed that it's a 145.

Yeah the bearings are squealing really loud on on my alternator when I drive but the alternator works great so I'm just going to change it with a 145 next week when I get the part
OP, was that your picture of the RPO Codes? That label is located inside the glovebox, on the inside of the door. On the picture posted, one can see KG3 in the middle, = to 145A

ooh I see it now thanks for showing me that!!!

Well, it turns out I was wrong, The squeeling got louder and now I can pin point it right to the power steering pump below the alternator.

I'm going to have to send the alternator back and have the power steering pump replaced

One of your RPO codes is JH2, which is hydroboost assist for the brakes (it also list Y91 - Luxury Edition). This system is different from the vacuum assist, and the PS pump is different for the hydroboost system.

If you do the work yourself, be sure to get the correct pump. If your mechanic does the work, he'll figure it out if he's anywhere familiar with these SUVs.
