Go for it, I drove 3 hours and a 2 hour ferry ride for my 20x12 weld wheels for 800, they seem nice with some talc

I'd make that drive. You should be able to polish those up pretty nice. I'd ask for detailed pics of each wheel and any imperfections just to make sure they are as decent as they look.
