how many psi should i keep

My tires are 305/30/26 there on a Yukon XL I was wondering how many PSI should I keep in the front and back wheels, cause when I asked a few different shops they all gave me different answers, I'm just trying to get the most comfortable ride possible and put the least wear and tear on the tires. I have 40psi in my 295/35/24 tires...So I'm guessing 45-48psi should be good

Think its supposed to be around 40-42 or so, whats the side of the tire say? They usually give a recommended or a maximum psi level, maybe reference it to the recommended in the owners manual
