My 2015 Tahoe Z71 is on a boat somewhere in the Atlantic, on its way from my previous overseas base to my current one back here in the US. I'm house/apartment hunting and I found a place that works for me, but I suspicious over whether my Tahoe will fit through the garage entrance. By my measurements, I should have about 3 inches of clearance by the stock 74.4" height, but I'm not sure how many inches the roof rack adds. Apartments get grabbed up fast here and I need to pick a place, but there's no way in hell that I'm leaving my buddy outside in the hail. Does anybody have info on the height added? I would really appreciate any help you can give.

I just measured, and the top of the crossbar is right about 3" higher than the top of the roof. I fit in my 6'8' office garage with a surfboard pad on the cross bar, but I do not even have a finger width of clearance on the gate arm. My tires add about a quarter of an inch too.

Thanks. I think I might be good, but just barely. If I do rent this place, it'll be clinched butt cheeks the first time I try parking. Hell, I might just take out the molding around the frame to give me an extra 1/4", and just put it back whenever I leave. I appreciate the help.
