How to install E-Fans

Bought the fans from rock auto, and they are the higher blade count OE ones for an 08 yukon.

which fans did you go with from Rock auto, they show 4 different ones.

Dorman has 7 blades on each fan.
The Four Seasons has 9 on the left fan and 7 on the right

I know mine are Dorman but IIRC the part # is 620653

It looks as if this thread has not been bumped in awhile. I have an 03 Yukon denali XL and I am interested in E-Fans. Is PCM tuning necessary to enable this to function as factory?

Other than that concern this appears to be a fairly straight forward upgrade.

Yes, you must have means of turning on the pins in the computer.

Can easily use a manual controller to operate the fans, both combined or individually.

Is someone running a higher output alternator or is everyone just running the OD pulley?

Whut. No need for either of those for a E-fan install.

Looks like multiple people are saying to swap to the OD pulley as the e-fans draw more power at idle.
